Aparajita Singh, MD

Dr Singh is a board certified gastroenterologist with special interest in colon cancer prevention, high quality colonoscopy and removal of advanced colon polyps. Her other interests include patients with high risk for colon cancer with Lynch Syndrome, FAP and management of patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
As the Director of Quality Improvement for the division of Gastroenterology, her mission is to improve communication, quality and safety of patient care. She mentors residents and fellows with several quality improvement projects.
Dr Singh is also passionate about medical education and works closely with medical students as the GI clerkship director and was recent recipient of Excellence in Teaching Award by Haile T Debas Academy of Medical Educators of UCSF.
She is a board member of Northern California Society of Clinical Gastroenterology ( NCSCG) and currently serves as the Vice President of the society.
She is recipient of several national and international honors and awards and serves as committee member for American College of Gastroenterology Training Committee.
