How to Apply: ACGME GI Fellowship

The GI Division participates in ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) and the fellowship match program administered by NRMP (National Residency Matching Program).

ERAS Application

Instructions for completing and submitting the ERAS application can be found at ERAS application.

The following items need to be included with your application:

Prospective applicants must choose one of two fellowship tracks: Clinical or Research Track (Research Track includes clinical or basic research).

The UCSF GI Fellowship Program cannot sponsor visas.

NRMP Registration

All applicants to GI Fellowship Program are required to register with the NRMP (National Residency Matching Program). Instructions for registration and deadlines can be found on the NRMP website.

Registration begins in July and Match results are announced in December.
